Mervyn STREET: artist
This work depicts a scene from the hard physical life that many Indigenous people experienced when colonists became pastoralists, moving onto Aboriginal traditional lands and establishing large cattle stations. These cattle stations were founded on, and run by Indigenous labour, in many cases un(der)paid.
