About the work

Being born in the desert, her artwork reflects her Tjukurrpa (Dreamtime) stories. Karawangarra is a raw and abstract vision of her country with its hills, creeks and rock holes. The work can be seen as a metaphor for a particular part of her country that is related to Tjukurrpa.
