About the work


Moonoomoorrem - the Keep River curves from the upper right corner to the bottom centre. Moolungim Creek flows in from the upper left corner. The small spring flowing in the lower right corner is Koorralikung - Blue Mountain Spring. The hills across the top of the painting are Moolungim Ngarrigung. In the upper right corner is Thelebirr. Above Koorralikung are two small circles. The right one in Moorloorm - a waterhole. Amongst the hills across the bottom of the painting right of centre is a gap with a circle situated just above it. This is Goorrgoorging - Grogmouth Dreaming. The billabong is called Barrboorum. In the upper section of the painting there is black oval (Hill) with two small green circles (Waterholes). This Jarrnum - Police Hole adjacent to Keep River National Park. The waterholes are called Ngowarngawam. The area indicated upper right of there is the community camping area.
