Icon to a stolen child: Void
Julie DOWLING: artist
A void is an empty and all-consuming nothingness.
When a stolen child returns to community after being taken away by
force, they only wish for the empty feeling to be filled again with love
and acceptance from their family.
This is what my grandmother and many survivors have told me.
