Self portrait as a child

About the work

I painted this image about my childhood as an individual without my twin
sister. This has always been difficult to do because we are very close.
This image reflects on those lonely times when I would think about how I
was labelled bad things by adults.
It’s painted in the style of Lucian Freud and others from the English
portrait traditions of the 1950s–1970s.
